A/n: I was asked questions on tumblr and I wrote fic as an answer c:

Before

It’s Halloween, and he doesn’t go out trick or treating with his cousins, doesn’t get dressed. And it’s not that he feels alone with them, it’s that he prefers staying indoors, prefers lazing around with his friend.

And even though it’s a friend who isn’t physically there, he likes this nonetheless. He laughs when his friend sends him a message, sends one back and smiles like maybe he’s a little bit in love.

After

It’s been years. They’ve been friends for a long time now and he waits for his friend’s plane to land.

And when he sees the familiar face with the familiar hazel eyes he’s seen from video-chatting and pictures they’ve exchanged online, maybe he falls a little bit deeper into this friendship.

‘So…’ his friend says, grinning. ‘I’m here.’

‘Yeah,’ he’s smiling as well, can’t help it. ‘How was the plane ride? I’ve never been on a plane, you know.’

His friend shrugs, ‘Yeah, of course I do.’
